Courier Job Description

Courier Services Provided by Heritage Security are those associated with transfers of checks and other monetary instruments, and in some cases limited amounts in cash.

We provide courier services on occasion for documents, packages, etc., however, our primary courier mission is the delivery of bank deposits from our clients.

Couriers are armed, and use appropriate vehicles to follow specific and defined routes to pick up deposits from various types of clients for delivery to banks and other receivers.

Couriers must be able to work without supervision and they must complete paperwork in a neat, precise manner. Couriers interact with our clients, and must be neat in appearance and have excellent customer service skills.

Job Requirements for Heritage Security Officer Couriers

Heritage Security Couriers are Security Officers holding a Courier authorization, and as such they must meet the qualifications for Security Officer including the requirement for a California Guard Card.

Couriers are required to possess a valid California Drivers License and upon job application provide a printout confirming a 5 year clean DMV record. Courier applicants must be insurable for company insurance purposes.

Couriers must pass psychological testing prior to starting work, and in this process may be subject to a polygraph examination and drug testing (with cause) at our discretion.
